Also blink through honey blocks, slime blocks, and barriers are not displayed at all.
To add to this:
In the changelogs of the released 1.16.210 update the following was stated
"Entities that use material state "Blending" now render correctly behind transparent parts"
According to the changelog this bug was fixed. It did fix end portal tiles rendering wrong on the inside of a glass block, however it isn't fixed for the edges, see End tile rendering.mp4
To show the difference with the last released update, I'll also upload this video to see the difference better: End tile rendering .200.mp4
So to conclude: This bug still exist, even after the tweaking that has been done in 1.16.210

I have video that involves end gateway. I uploaded it. Don't question how I got any of the other illegal blocks, just ignore it.
This also happens for transparent blocks behind the end portal. Additionally there is a visual "wall" on (sub)chunk borders where flickering doesn't occur.
