This seems to duplicate WEB-7179
According to [Mod] Greymagic27 there is an outage currently going on which affects the xbox servers and in turn, the Minecraft licensing/auth servers. This means it's possible you may be unable to change your name, your skin, or be able to play Minecraft at all, regardless of your launcher. Your purchase is not at risk however and if the game shows as unowned, this should be resolved when the outage is resolved.

Please note that the game hasn't been deleted, there is an outage currently going on which affects the xbox servers and in turn, the Minecraft licensing/auth servers. This means it's possible you may be unable to change your name, your skin, or be able to play Minecraft at all, regardless of your launcher. Your purchase is not at risk however and if the game shows as unowned, this should be resolved when the outage is resolved. According to [Mod] Greymagic27

There is an outage currently going on which affects the Xbox servers and in turn, the Minecraft licensing/auth servers. This means it's possible you may be unable to change your name, your skin, or be able to play Minecraft at all, regardless of your launcher. Your purchase is not at risk however and if the game shows as unowned, this should be resolved when the outage is resolved.

I try in 3 browsers, Edge, Chrome and Firefox, I have also used proton vpn to test if it would not let me enter and also presented the same problem, also in browsers use incognito mode in case any extension affected and also is not solved and I consulted a friend and in the capture that I shared I saw that in the top right where it should leave the registered user comes out the same login in and reedem but so far let him enter the (is from mexico)

This is still an ongoing issue, happening across other launchers, there are a few workarounds, but they are starting to not work as well now. Any sort of updates on if this is getting checked or something to show this is an active issue that isn't a temporary outage?
This is an active issue but there's currently no status post made about it. Submitting a ticket to Mojang with the requested information should help them narrow down the cause however
Checking in at the request of Mojang support. I've gone through a ticket, offered my personal experiences. They are consistent with this issue. Using a VPN fixed the launcher issues, curiously, but not the website issues.
I'm unsure if this is merely due to low traffic, but I wanted to mention that this seems resolved (for the time being at least). I was able to launch the game multiple times in a row without issues. It's currently about 11am Eastern time here (this was 5/5 repro rate previously on my end)
FWIW I agree with this guy, I can log in fine now, but skins are still borkin'. Me and my friend show up as Alexes.
It seems that at the moment I can enter correctly to the web page and make the changes, although it is very strange that it says that I don't have the game, as indicated in the two previous comments although the skins are a little bugged, I imagine that the problem is also being solved.

Seems like for some reason I am "blocked" in Ukraine and don't have game purchased, maybe this is relented to XBox accounts been not accessible in some regions?

I have the same problem but 2 days pass and it is resolved and it stops working again to buy again
Using a VPN does not fix the skins issue, nor does clearing my ./assets/skins folder.
Edit: The issue is gone for me now.
Got the Problem today and got really confused why. The Screenshot I've attached, is say that I don't own a Copy of the game, or don't have a valid subscription for the game pass.

I think there is already a solution, I entered Minecraft and its page again but this time I connected with the internet from the cell phone to the PC and it worked excellent, it does not generate error messages either in the launcher or on the official page, it must be due to a certain type network, they should give this information to the rest so they can test it.

To the people who have an issue with the error code: (0x803f8001) with the Xbox subscription bug (like the picture from June 20th 2024), it got fixed for me after opening the launcher through the Microsoft Store app instead of the desktop shortcut. Not sure if it will work for anyone else, but it might.
wrote an email to support and solved it
Got to make sure ur OS is updated (even the preview). Then log out off ur acc in microsoft store, and then reset ur microsoft store:
Reset the Microsoft Store
Then log back in into the microsoft store acc that has minecraft on it, and then i just reseted the store again to make sure ;P Launched it through the microsoft store and it worked
