All Texture Pack .mcmetasNow Contain AnIncompatibleNumberAll Texture Pack .mcmetas Are Now Incompatible With 22w17a
I would expect that texture packs would stay consistent up until 1.19, but in this snapshot my homemade texture pack is no longer compatible. I have no clue what caused this or if Mojang did it intentionally.

And yes, 9 is the correct format. but I expected it to stay consistent until 1.19 and then it changes.
Warden Can "See" Through Invisibility
I always thought this was intentional, since you temporarily lower your shield when attacking. And if you lower your shield the moment it explodes...
@Toast_Cubed They souldn't need more than one block as they are less than one block tall and dont have a exception to the general mob spawning rules. as well as still being able to spawn in less than one block hight gaps like inside a top trapdoor. at lest one of these inconsistencies should be fixed.
@Toast_Cubed It does apply to passive mobs, they can not spawn within 24 blocks. However, that isn't an issue in the testing I did because my spawning pad was 100x100, I had other passive mobs spawning, and did have rabbits spawn just not with the full block covers. If you would like you are welcome to test more, and if you find anything else it would be more than appreciated.
I was solely replying to Toast_Cubed, I wasn't speaking about what reported.

Sorry my searches came up with nothing :/
Can confirm.

Also, Minecraft hasn't been around for 15 years. It was released in 2010. And by doing the maths correctly, I know it's been around for 12 years if it's 2022.
Do you have any instructions on how to reproduce?
That's probably a silly question because they make no sound, but I'm not sure how I could reproduce on my Windows 10.
This is a duplicate report of
MC-250998And further down the line
MC-250926Strange, since the changelog said now they do. If you're using multiple pieces of tnt, the second piece of tnt could be blowing up the xp orbs.
Yea I just thought if you could see through the wardens eyes clearly in spectator then...
Well, you know.
Do you have any instructions for how to reproduce?
It probably would be related.
It depends. ARE they in a state of disparity? If not, they shoud be reopened.
Maybe put the issue in your title. Other things to look at:
-Block sounds
-Pc volume
-Headphone/speaker volume
We need a Mojang or Mod person to mark this resolved as duplicate
No. In fact, it's actually 9, which is the format I expected for 1.19, although this may be intentional. Is it intentional? I wouldn't think so, but to really know the answer we'd have to ask the devs.
But now a few duplicates have been made mentioning sculk sensors
Me guiltily being one of them
It's not really a bug, but a texture issue
It's pretty cool seeing a stronghold like that.
The bug you linked is quite the opposite of this bug
Not like I'm questioning your helper status
I know 9 would work, as I stated above, but the bug here is that I expected the pack format to stay 8 until 1.19 in which then it would update to 9. But this snapshot changes that which I don't think the devs would change for a snapshot.
Have you uploaded your hero? If you have you can import it and get your stuff back
I think
I feel like I have OCD for this stuff please fix
While this tower is active I'm milking this for all it's worth
Mark this as resolved
Maybe Mojang should make it so the warden doesn't despawn like pop, but so it automatically digs underground when it would normally despawn?
It's just a suggestion I don't expect Mojang to take me seriously
How will this never be fixed?
Can you reword that please?
says politely
I think I had to restart my world, there was definately an issue earlier. Though the test screenshot you see here was fixed by making it sources.
And also, why would the devs change the pack format in a snapshot? The changelog does not mention it
It's not that difficult to understand...
Once you reworded it as I requested.
Resolved.
But I think Mojang should update the change log to inform people that it's changed.
If it helps I made a bug report a few days ago...
MC-251012The texture pack format is now 9.
This report is not a duplicate as far as I'm aware.
I reckon this would be intentional, it seems unrealistic to go elsewhere in your inventory
Also, I need more information.
Can you take an item from an allay if it's the same item as you're holding and it's stackable?
If it generates like ores, Mojang should make it a structure and ultimately make the command, it is inconsistent
:/
Dhranios
It said nothing about difficulty no longer affecting it...
Which therefore makes it a bug.
It sounds like you're having a case of the lags. Maybe open the f3 screen on Java and view your fps.
The last point you have, player jumps in the very edge of a wool block, is happening because of Minecraft's math. If you're on the very edge of one block, you might be on one of the neighbouring blocks. You can see this when you jump on the edge of slime and it's not bouncy.
It doesn't help I don't know what WAI means
The big black square is where the skylight drops out. The big black square in the centre all have a skylight and block light value of 0.
So the status will ultimately be updated to
Resolved
Working as intended
I know you've marked it as working as intended, but I think you should mark it as "awaiting response" and ask the reporter if they were just clicking or holding. And I'm pretty sure the banner has "Hold to pick up" on it, so unless the reporter doesn't English... I think they'd know. So maybe, give them a chance.
Wouldn't this more be "Works as intended"? Because if it was never a bug, there's nothing to fix about it
Yeah... I'm pretty annoyed about the tome of duplication soul thing too
I image it would be quite difficult to reproduce, you can't do it by trying to do it.
That's because of another bug that makes Minecraft think you're on another block but you aren't. I'd say thank you for your report this is a duplicate but I can't find the original post :/
I'm also not a helper yet so I don't have authority I'm pretty sure
The furnace is lit and fuel is consumed but the item doesn't smelt in 22w17a.
And the environment field is for pc versions and pc types, not for conditions. That is the idea of the descriptions field.
You might want to edit your post, the English is a little hard to understand. But if pc and Minecraft's master and separate volume is up high, maybe check your speakers. Now answer:
Did this resolve your issue?
You need to provide more information on how to reproduce.
Do you have anything that might cause the lag e.g hundreds of entities?
Or high lag farms
Maybe rabbits need more then one block of space to spawn.
The dropper drops items, whatever they are, and the dispenser can shoot out projectiles (ender pearls included) and place water and lava. If you have any questions or any other quims, the Minecraft wiki is a great place to look.
I'm not sure if this applies to passive mobs, but I'm pretty sure mobs can't spawn within a 14 block radius of the player.
Hey!
I've experienced this all the way back to the nether update on Java and Bedrock since the update came out, I didn't know this was a bug.
It can move whilst performing both (I'll attach another screenshot)
I've recorded a video
It's intended, but it's a logical point that should be reviewed and changed accordingly.
It seems intentional, so the witches would have to be updated.
Please don't create donkey reports.
Mr. [Mod] Michael Wobst, he killed every sort of entity in the world and set mob spawning to false. It's impossible for anything else to trigger it if you're in spectator mode! Maybe you should test it yourself. But saying that, we need steps to reproduce this bug.
You need to attach a screenshot or tell us what this slogan says. I have attached a text file to this report, which I'm not sure how I did, but see if you can find it and pick it out for us.
Just to make sure, are the job blocks accessible? It needs to be the villager's feet.
So should this report be progressing?
This is a feature request.
I understand your frustration, which is why I only build villages of less then 20 villagers. I'm just saying that this is a bug site, feel free to post at the feedback site
https://feedback.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/community/posts?filter_by=all
I'm sure they'll at least view it.
I'm not going to question you, but it's not the united colours I'm talking about. Grass and tall grass are different colours, with tall grass being the lighter shade. They're different colours to each other, and I'm not sure where overlays come into it. I wouldn't call it a duplicate but I guess you're the mod
Since it's been about a year, could I claim ownership of this ticket?
So it should be reviewed and updated accordingly.
I just wouldn't think that sculk sensors could detect flying mobs
Please attach a video, I cannot reproduce this.
Actually, it won't. Go to https://help.minecraft.net/hc/en-us for help with this, this is a bug tracker that tracks bugs in Minecraft itself, not the launcher.
This isn't a Minecraft bug, it just closes the current window you're in. It's a pre programmed shortcut by Microsoft.
Villagers can see through players invisibility, so it's only logical.
Mobs can't spawn in a certain radius of the player, yes.
I think grass podzol and mycelium need light to grow... And if a block is on top it has 0 light
The nearest buried treasure may have been to far away for the buried treasure map to pair to it
Please take this into consideration.
One such solution would be to either:
a. expand the pillars so that they are square.
b. Move the corner of the iron bars in so that they adhere to the shape of the pillar.
People use this "bug" all the time.
I'm pretty sure Mojang already knows of this, it seems weird how it works but I reckon this would be a feature request
But you're setting your sensitivity to 1.00, the whole bug is if your sensitivity is UNDER 1.00 is doesn't scroll.
This is a minor generation quirk it is meant to be generated with grey wool
It's called lag.
Were you lagging? Are you sure you were in range of it for your fist to connect?
I just wouldn't think you could get about 4 stacks off one tree
You obviously haven't been using Jira for long. If it's marked as a duplicate, the bug has already been reported.
Have you got the new launcher by Microsoft and uninstalled the old one?
Smacks Head
This is a rendering. IT'S NOT A PROBLEM! This is a forum for bugs WITH Minecraft, not little video quirks. Do people complain about a green axolotl being in the video but not in the game? No! Please try to only post real bugs.
Can you provide a seed and coordinates as an example?
What they said.
It could also be you're entering the seed wrong.
Same can go for structure void, barriers, so on. It's most definitely intentional.
¿Cuándo compraste Windows 10? ¿Y está seguro de que compró Windows 10 en la misma cuenta con la que intenta acceder a Java Edition?
I'm not sure this is intentional, but I don't think Mojang would revert this change. But it is annoying and dangerous, so it has the potential to be changed.
Please only list 1 bug per report.
This is not Minecraft
It's called every computer ever
Every computer will lag a lot if too many entities are summoned, it has a hard time keeping track of them all. Maybe just don't summon that many allays.
You are using a mod! This report is invalid since it's probably the mod screwing up.
Isn't it kind of satisfying and immersive anyway?
This is literally the only way I can get the advancement
This also effects Xbox, too.
Needs to be fixed, yes
They spawn randomly so either:
1. He hasn't spawned out of luck
2. The area is mob proofed/no available locations for spawn
3. He has spawned and you just haven't looked in the right places, most likely some hidden cave.
Present in 1.19 full release.
Wouldn't it be cool if we had infinite deepslate emerald ore though?
Could you provide a video?
If it can't connect to Minecraft services, you aren't on a connection with internet.
It just looks like shadowing
It could be the server not having enough memory
Just in case you didn't see the above messages, this is intentional.
If your inventory was full, he would have picked it back up before you could.
Plundered Indeed!
What an amazing feature!
