The Bug
The lava pools below y=0 or negative Y levels still generate with stone around. This shouldn't happen since only deepslate should generate there.
Seed: 1892258769 Coords: 52 -29 58
can confirm on 21w07a with seed 1321211823458448161 at 5783/-47/-4270
confirm, grimstones needs to convert stones over grimstones into itself.
Can confirm in 21w08b.
21w11a still has it
This is more noticably a bug since the lava flooded caves do not generate stone, and water lakes beneath y=0 does spawn with deepstone around itself
Can confirm in 21w13a.
