The bug
When you empty a bundle via inventory, it doesn’t play the hand animation although empyting it by right clicking it without having the inventory open does. Relates to MC-172897 and MC-203571
How to reproduce:
- Get a bundle and any other item (except shulker box)
- Put the item in it
- Hover over it with your mouse
- Right click
The hand animation didn’t play. Even if that is the bundle that you have in your hand, the hand animation won’t play.
Is related to MC-203571, although I think it's a fair expectation that removing the bundles_content component should mean the animation shouldn't play.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Give yourself a bundle without the bundles_content component:
/give @s minecraft:bundle[!minecraft:bundle_contents]
2. Press right click any direction.
Observed Behavior:
The bundle empty/throw animation plays, indicating the player is interacting.
Expected Behavior:{}
Any item (including minecraft:bundle) that doesn't have the bundles_content component , shouldn't be able to play that animation or attempt an interaction.
Maybe it could be perceived as looking in and seeing there's nothing?

I can still reproduce in 20w49a with the reproduction steps I provided.
This can indeed still be reproduced with the reproduction steps provided by bugsbugsbugs. Putting these into the description.
Just to add on, I can confirm this in 20w49a using the steps provided by bugsbugsbugs. However, it will only play the hand animation a single time whereas in previous versions, it would play the animation consistently for every time you right-clicked, regardless of following the updated reproduction steps.
This mention if you have bundle you right click on item it will get 1 item inside.
Will fix 20w52a soon or 1.17 release. (after last snapshot was 20w51a and could be release 1.17)
When we fix this, the fix will only apply to new bundles. If you keep a bundle from a previous snapshot you may see still this issue happen once for that old bundle.
