Servers are able to send a modified player count string which is not restricted to a maximum length and therefore able to overflow the server list to the left. This might, due to MC-58175, interfere with the buttons below the server list.
An example for a server who exploits this can be found in two of the provided screenshots.
After further investigation, I am able to confirm that modded servers are able to provide strings instead of the player count (an example is the Polish server whose adress is visible in one of the screenshots). Those strings are not restricted to a maximum length and therefore able to overflow the server list to the left. I couldn't find any other reports about this, and this problem might be counted as a suggestion.
Also, there's a second bug which should also be able to happen with vanilla servers - as far as I could test it, the tooltip will also be shown if you hover over the place where the player count should be, but it is hidden under the options menu on the bottom of the screen (see the first screenshot). That's also the case for the ping icon tooltip. This has already been reported here: MC-58175

I can confirm that, as I created a duplicate. xP
The server up/down/join buttons also appear and change color when the mouse moves over the buttons.
