Splash text in Main Menu changes only if you press "Escape", otherwise it does not
Description
As you know, in the Main Menu of the game (where you select if you will play Sigleplayer, Multiplayer, Options or Quit Game), there is a message. If you select any of the options and then press "Escape", the message changes. If you just press "Cancel", the message doesn't change, though.
How to reproduce
1. Go to the Main Menu.
2. Select one of the options.
3. Press "Escape".
4. Notice, the message changed.
5. Select something again.
6. Press "Cancel" (right bottom of the screen).
7. Notice, the message didn't change.

Seems related to MC-13118.
Applying resolution from MC-13118.
Every time you click "Maximise" or "Restore Down" on Windows the splash text will refresh. Similar issue to MC-13118
Prior to when the splash texts were reverted to not only showing coronavirus splash texts, the splash text would change only when clicking one of the main menu buttons and pressing escape. This is intended (MC-13118). However, currently, the splash text only changes when pressing escape from the "Multiplayer" or "Options" menu.
This issue is related to MC-13118.
If you click Multiplayer, then hit escape, it resets the splash text. If you do that with Singleplayer, it does not.
1. Hitting cancel in the singleplayer menu does not reset splash text. ![]()
2. Hitting escape on the singleplayer menu does not reset splash text. ![]()
3. Hitting back in the multiplayer menu does not reset splash text. ![]()
4. Hitting escape in the multiplayer menu resets the splash text. ![]()

When clicking certain menu buttons on the main menu, the panorama state when spinning around is not saved and instead resets to the beginning.
This happens with the Multiplayer button and Options button.
This only happens when closing these menus via escape. Clicking the respective cancel/done buttons properly resumes the panorama state. When closing any other menu (such as Singleplayer) with either escape or the cancel/done button, the panorama spinning always resumes.

Since 24w09a, pressing ESC to access the multiplayer menu or options menu no longer triggers changes in the splash text. This was an intentional feature MC-13118.
This being marked as WAI goes against what was previously intended behavior.
