However, this issue is Invalid.
Please put only one bug report in each ticket. It is very difficult to keep track of bugs when they are not in their own tickets.
In particular, it looks like you are describing 2 or 3 different bugs:
- The issue with holding a partially transparent block rendered with the "blend" method: this sounds identical to the bug with vanilla glass tracked at
MCPE-55631. - The issue with a placed partially transparent custom block rendered with the "blend" method. If I understand correctly that you meand placed blocks and not dropped items, this is similar to vanilla issues with dirt path, farmland, and powder snow blocks tracked at MCPE-33575 and
MCPE-127565. - The issue with north/south faces on a custom block rendered with the "alpha_test" method: I think this is not a bug at all. The example code literally says to render two images in the exact same place, so of course they z-fight. I would expect the same result using any render method. If you want something to render differently on opposite sides, then you need to put some space between the sides.

Please verify that you are not using any third-party resource packs, especially shader packs. If you are, please tell us whether you can reproduce this issue after disabling them.
sorry for the delay in answering XD but I just saw that the error was reopened 2 days ago, I clarify that I do not use any type of shader or texture pack, and even in the new version 1.14.1 this error still occurs, thanks for responding and I hope I have helped, I leave a new capture that the error continues to occur with the new non beta version
Also makes water and ice invisible (not packed)
All glass (pane and block) makes everything transparent. This is a completely vanilla 1.14.1 world, no resource/ behaviour packs.

MCPE-32450describes only items entities sitting on the ground, this report describes glass & such held in a mobs hand. These may have the same underlying cause in the code, but we don't have access to the code to know for sure. in the newest beta 1.16.0.60 I saw this happen with placed glass blocks but it seemed to only affect clouds. It included stained glass blocks and regular glass blocks

Just added my screenshot. Was in 3rd person view from the front, Win 10 build 18362 (have not updated to version 2004 yet), MC 1.16.1 Bedrock. Holding a glass block and could see the dirt behind it, but not the water flowing over that dirt.

Likely only fixed via Render Dragon. Not fixed on 1.16.210.50 beta (Android).
I would like to add that this is not exclusive to third-person view, it also happens when another player is holding glass in multiplayer (see screenshot)
