Created Issue:
Nether portal light left over
Description
When I light an 10x14 (length x height) nether portal, and then break it on creative, the light still remains after breaking. I have been able to reproduce it on several occasions, too.
What I expected to happen was
I though the nether portal would break and not leave a light 'ghost' behindWhat actually happened was
The nether portal's light cast upon the ground remained after destruction.steps to reproduce:
1. Make a 10x14 nether portal frame.
2. ignite it.
3. break it
4. look at the remaining light after destructionEnvironment

Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version 1.8.1 Prerelease 3 / Launcher version 1.5.3 or later? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.
Still affects 1.8.1 PR3. Updating.
Affects 1.9 (previously confirmed) as well as 1.10. I'm beginning testing on various portal sizes to see which are affected
Also present in 10x11 portals, with nothing at 10x10 or below.
Confirmed for 1.13.1.
This looks like related to chunk borders.
