I was riding a minecart pushed by a minecart with furnace.(The minecart with furnace stopped several times with no apparent reason and needed to be clicked.) The game became extremely lagged due to the ride (this problem started with the 1.4.2 update), occupying more than 1GB of RAM. I clicked "save and return to main menu", and when I returned, the two minecarts weren't where I was, or in other point of the trail.

I died in a NPC village for an Enderman and respawned in my house in the mountains, quite far (distance = half a day walking). But I was stuck in the ground, so I clicked "save and return to the main menu" and reopened the world.
I wasn't near my bed, but in the second floor (variation of my
MC-2151), so I went down the stairs and ran to the Village. My items weren't in the location, so I clicked "save and return to the main menu" and reopened the world. Part of them was in the place, and I took them.I repeated the process of closing and reopening two more times, and all my item reappeared on the ground two times, so I took much more than I had before dying.

This is not a bug. Zombies want to eat human brains only, not dog or NPC brains.
It also affects 1.4.5.
The maximum level of enchanting was updated, so I went to my room to destroy the excedent bookshelves. They were destroyed, dropping books, but the bookshelf block not. When I try to hit them, the block behind is, like the server knowing the destruction, but the client not.
Pressing F3 + A deleted the bugged nonexistent blocks.

After updating to the 1.5 version, the game uses a huge amount of memory and has terrible lag

This error make this effect in my underground temple (that has no other blocks above his roof). When it's day, the roof is lightened, when it's night, the roof turns black.
I'm not playing online.
That's not problem of my PC. No matter how long I wait, the textures doesn't load until I walk next to the transparent area.
This error doesn't affects all the gameplay, it's only on the beginning. And not all the times.
I lost in the update OK, as
MC-519show, but this time was due to the lack of power supply. This happened again now, when I received a "blue screen of death".
Jon, if you open the images in the full size you'll can see the small difference. I used both a LCD and a LCD LED screen to see it.
Daedalus Young, to confirm that it's not an eye trick, you can cover the pot with your fingers and alternate the tabs where the images are opened, just as Jonathan Haas suggested. If you don't see the pot but you see the small difference in the light, there's no eye trick caused by contrast.
I thought that they where searching for the seeds... As if they was associating my presence with food.
Tails, definetely not... In
MC-409the alterations weren't saved. In my case they were, so I obtained the items. The problem is that the items reappeared, and I obtained them again, gaining more items that I had before dying.I saw this problem in my game today.
Oh, so pressing the number does that? Good to know this shortcut.
When I use a spawn egg to create a new Villager on the Est side of the village, he/she instantly runs to the West side, where all the 20 are using five houses, at maximum.
This problem is the same as
MC-129.The issue
MC-2216that I created is for the same problem related here. No, Kumasasa. In
MC-811the minecart did not disappeared, was just a problem in the visualization created by the client side.Ok, Kumasasa.
Jacob, my Anti-Aliasing is off, but the problem exist.
This is not a bug... Sandstone blocks have their top texture different from their bottom texture...
Aden, when specifically?
I think that this issue is related to
MC-811.Not only after pressing F5. I pressed F1.
The problem persists in the 1.4.4 version.
I did not lost my achievements when updating 1.4.2 to 1.4.4.
The problem persists in 1.4.4. I didn't relogged, only was distant.
Oh, and they not only fly, but "sink" too...
Oh, I didn't knew about the alteration on centering.
Duplicate of
MC-2497?Talven, was in single player, I did't logged out, I didn't closed the program and I think that this is not reproducible, like my
MC-2876.I was in my boat and it broken without any reason and without dropping anything. I tried to put torches in the ground and can't. When I reopened the world I fallen from the boat.
The glass block is darker because there is much more glass blocking the light, this is not a bug.
Doesn't appears to be caused by the sound.
The problem persists on 1.4.4.
This happened to me after a long travel in the game. When I returned and looked to the wall, one map was blanked.
I clicked "save and return the main menu" and then reopened the world. The map was loaded as it was before the blankening.
The green arrow turns into a white circle when the place where the map was put is out of the vision, and the white circle also bugs.
Sorry, I didn't read any of the previous comments... I read them now. My screenshot shows that most of the processing capabilities were occupied by the tick, not by the sound. But if turning off the sound stops the problem, so the sound is jamming the tick...?
MC-3018appears to be a duplicate of this issue.Appears to be a duplicate of
MC-2114.Adult Zombie Villagers burns?
Strongholds needs to appear very special and unique, or they will not be as cool as they are. More than 3 of them is bad.
But Paul, in a server the admin can create manually more portals, don't?
This problem persists on 1.4.4. Happened to me today.
Not only cows, chicks too.
I don't know, Kumasasa.
Seems to be related to
MC-811.Which texture?
From chicken eggs. Most of them went to the area next to chickens, but a few amount of the chicks stayed as the image shows, and silently, for a while.
No, Nicholas, definetely it's not lag.
The problem affects sandstone stairs too...
Seems related to
MC-3282(mobs having problem with transparent blocks).I wrote my book in 1.4.2, when was the bug with books. Now it's bugged.
Michael Smith, I'm playing in portuguese since the translations were added to the game.
The zombie not attacking the wolf is not a bug: zombies want to eat only human brains. Unless they are zombie wolfs...
What is SMP?
Pumpkin alterates the teleportment?
"Hello Motto" - Motorola
Redstone maps?
The problem persists on 1.4.5, I think.
I seems like a bug to me. If you put snow, the dirt reorganizes, and if you remove the snow the dirt come back to the original position? Nonsense.
No only inventory, but furnace too, like my screenshots show.
Tails, I don't know. This is a rare problem, is possible that this can still occur, but didn't occured yet.
But Kumasasa, they are too far from the land... Appears that they spawned in the wrong location (in the water) instead of spawning in the land and went swin.
This happened to me after updating Minecraft from 1.4.5 to 1.4.6.
This didn't happened to me when updating 1.4.5 for 1.4.6.
This is definetely related to
MC-811. Thing like I related inMC-2876occured after.Incredible Tails, the game crashed exactly when I destroyed a Jukebox.
I don't know. This didn't happened to me again in the actual version, maybe because this appears to be a rare combination of bugs.
After reloading the chunks. I go away to chop wood or close the game, and when I return it's frozen.
I lost them again yesterday on 1.4.6, when Windows restarted after flashing a blue screen.
This happened to me in 1.4.6.
Is this still happening in 1.4.6?
Tails, in
MC-4465there were Ghasts in Nether. My issue didn't had Ghasts because I changed the difficult to peaceful before entering. InMC-4465the player died. This is not duplicate. The lavafall was already in the place when I was walking in the point of which I took the screenshots; it didn't started flowing from the beginning, the lava source block. I didn't approached more to see if the flux would be fixed due to the existence of the lava sea.
I have a backup, but this will make me loss hours of game that weren't bakuped yet.
I think that it happened to me in 1.4.6 too.
Why the glowing eyes can be viewed? The spider needs to be invisible, no?
Thanks for the link, Tails.
Dean, look that one of the falls doesn't falls the entire way.
Something like that occured to me now on 1.4.6: the sand blocks were dropped, but started "dancing" like they didn't knew where to fall.
Duplicate of
MC-2548?When I look close I see an empty space...
Oops, sorry.
Jesse Thompson, your problem with the waterfall is similar to my problem with lavafall. See
MC-5568.Is this still happening in 1.4.7?
Is this still happening in 1.4.7?
Done.
Related to
MC-4057? It's also a problem with minecarts turning...Quinn Coral, how does this help?
Tails, minecarts are made from iron... They shouldn't trespass other solid blocks... They should collide with them and stop or be "destroyed" (dropped as item).
The first issue seems to be intended. You can put your powered minecart moving again by simply right clicking it.
MC-4925is related to this issue.Doesn't appears to be a bug. If you fall in a liquid, you take no damage, but if you fall in the iron floor of the minecart you should take it.
Is this still happening in 1.4.7?
Seems to be related to MC-2783 and
MC-505.In 1.4.7 too?
Is this still happening in 1.4.7?
Gustavo, it is recommended that you attach screenshots directly here.
Gustavo, it is recommended that you attach screenshots directly here.
Seems to be related to MC-4.
Doesn't seems to be a bug... It will happen this way, if in real world.
Now that it was renamed I see that
MC-2729is the same issue. This seems to be the same problem of
MC-2399.I don't know because I'm not playing Minecraft recently.
Seems related to
MC-220(Z-fighting).But the normal glass block is a block, and the glass pane is a fraction of a block, like flowerpots, stairs, etc.
Well, the golems exist to protect the villagers, so there is no bug if they stay near them...
I don't know, I didn't went near the ocean recently.
Duplicate of MC-711.
Kevin, I reported that bug on lighting too, but the first three screenshots are showing the problem in the background. I was not showing the flow in forefront.
Please, do that.
I added an editted version of your editted image to show you which lava flow I was referring to. It was not the righmost.
The problem still occurs in 1.5.
This happened to me in 1.5. I don't know if it was like
MC-4465orMC-5566explains, because I was restarting the game several times. This still occurs in 1.5, but less intensly. It's not completely dark anymore.
Reversing the intensity would be awesome!
This is really possible...
I saw this issue before (not the comments), but I didn't tested the snapshots.
The process closes...
It didn't crashed...
I don't nkow. I didn't tried to destroy any bookshelves recently.
I don't know, I didn't tried the recent versions.
I added one more screenshot of the PC Usage information window. This image was produced on the same day than the previous others.
1.5.1 works incredibly well. The performance is amazing. I didn't noted too much lags. The memory usage is the same (200MB -> 500MB -> 700MB -> 1GB -> 1.2GB, etc.)
I added too 4 crash reports: 2 from 1.5 and 2 from 1.5.1. Each version have a crash report with the render distance configured to "normal" and one configured to "large" (I have a 32-bit system, but it's horrible to travel on Nether with less than "large", so I use this configuration).
Appears that the problem isn't in the world loading, but in the chunk loading... When I go away, the lead is dropped... But I can't remember if I reloaded the world or not.

MC-16834.Bailey, you need to create backups of the game sometimes, specially if you're trying a snapshot, to prevent that. I create one backup for each day that I play Minecraft, and doing this saved me many times.
It's not only lack of death sound... I couldn't hear a good hitting sound... When hit by a sword, the sheep didn't emitted a suffering sound, like the cows do... The sheep didn't emitted any sound, or emitted the normal sound "baa's/mehs".
Unresolved. Happened to me when updating from 1.6.2 to 1.6.4.
Which file I can edit using wordpad to compensate this?
It can't be intended.
There is no "stats" folder inside the folder of worldname.
No, but what is this small block?
As drastically as in the image?
I was uncertain if it was duplicate or not, so I created this other issue.
In the past, yes. But now it's 1.6.4.
I didn't used any 1.7 snapshots. I don't use snapshots because they're much more bugged.
But, how having the achievements per world solves the problem? This don't blocks the program from reseting them, don't?
They also prefer trying to walk in flowing water then to go around the water.
Also, the lead appears to be over the shoulder of the user, not is his hand. I saw a bug reort of this, but cannot find it now.
Still happening (with less severity than 1.4 and 1.5) in 1.6.4.
It happened to me today after I pressed F5 several times. Don't know if it was coincidence or not.
Mobs still get stuck in fences in the version 1.6.4.
Smoke from torches also can pass through solid blocks, in 1.6.4.
But the place is sufficiently dark (low light level) to make the skeleton survive?
I though that this wasn't the same problem as
MC-22927, but now I see it is.Oh, I was counting the light level diagonally, but it appears that it's calculated horizontally then vertically. I'm right?
Thank you.
Oh, the mob doesn't need shadow at all, just one block above it's head. Thank you.
Ok then.
Less then a minute. I created the world, turned my head back and saw the arrow.
I will try the next time I play Minecraft.
I can't recreate the world, I don't know the seed that I used.
In 1.6.4 the green arrow doesn't go away when you remove the map from the item frame.
