Zoglins uselessly attack the wither
The Bug
Zoglins try to attack the wither, but deal no damage. The wither will also not retaliate.
Steps to Reproduce
- Summon a wither along with a zoglin.
/summon minecraft:wither ~ ~ ~ {NoAI:1b} /summon minecraft:zoglin ~ ~ ~ - Wait for the zoglin to notice and begin attacking the wither.
- Take note as to whether or not zoglins attempt to attack withers even though they deal no damage to them.
Observed Behavior
Zoglins attempt to attack withers even though they deal no damage to them.
Expected Behavior
Instead, zoglins would not attempt to attack withers since they deal no damage to them, or the withers themselves would receive damage dealt from zoglins.

When I was trying MC-177878, The wither shot some wither skulls and breaks my crying obsidian cage.

The wither won't escape

The Wither broke the cage
Can confirm. They behave exactly like they do with armor stands.
MC-177122That's because zoglins are undead, and the wither doesn't attack any undead mobs.

All undead mobs are able to aggro on the Wither and attempt to hit him, although they do not inflict any damage. I think it’s necessary to create a general bug report about this issue and mark this report as a duplicate.
