Swapping bottles after brewing does not award Local Brewery advancement
After brewing a potion, if one picks up an item (say, a water bottle) and swaps it with the brewed potion in the brewing stand, this act is not recognized as fulfilling the requirements for the potion brewing advancement, "Local Brewery". The only act that seems to be recognized is manually removing the finished potion bottle from the stand.

Swapping bottles after brewing does not award Potion Achievement
After brewing a potion, if one picks up an item (say, a water bottle) and swaps it with the brewed potion in the brewing stand, this act is not recognized as fulfilling the requirements for the potion brewing achievement, "Local Brewery". The only act that seems to be recognized is manually removing the finished potion bottle from the stand.
If this is "intended behavior", it's not very intuitive.

The advancement 'Local Brewery' is not granted on shift-clicking a potion out of a brewing stand. Taking a potion out of the stand by clicking it with an empty hand (emptiness requirement because of MC-6637) or hotkeying grants the advancement, only shift-clicking does not work.
This bug might have been introduced while fixing MC-116875 in 1.20.5, but I could not find any related changes in the patch notes.
Can confirm.
Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.
Version 1.5.1 still affected.
still affects 14w10c
Confirmed for 1.9-pre1
What kind of trigger does this advancement have? If it is to take an item out of a container, then the bug became bigger with 1.12 and now affects a lot more things with custom advancements that expect to work when taking something out of a container.
It uses minecraft:brewed_potion, which works only with brewing stands
Can confirm for 19w35a.
