See this comment for more info; it ignores things that change the FOV modifier, but does look at the FOV option value. Judging only from the duplicates, there was also once an issue where it ignored the FOV option value, but I don't know when/if that changed (and I don't want to separate out that behavior into a new issue because I'm not 100% sure it did change).
The sneaking animation is its own issue (MC-148088). I think the aspect ratio problem should also be created as a separate issue (that should be linked to this one).
The position that the game renders the fishing line changes depending on what aspect ratio the game is being played in. Correct behaviour only occurs with a resolution that has an aspect ratio of ~16:9.
Note: Issue occurs no matter what FOV is set. Screenshots taken at 80 FOV.
What I expected to happen was...:
The fishing line should take the aspect ratio into account when determining its position on screen.
What actually happened was...:
Fishing line is rendered offset to left of the Fishing Rod when playing with an aspect ratio with a lower width, such as 4:3. Fishing line is rendered offset to the right of the Fishing Rod when playing with an aspect ratio with a higher width, such as 21:9. Offset direction is reversed when the Fishing Rod is held in the left hand.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Use Fishing Rod to throw the line.
2. Change the horizontal size of the window.
3. Notice how the fishing line's location disconnects from the Fishing Rod as the width is changed.
Possibly related to:
Also seems to be the actual issue reported in MC-190324 as the linked video's resolution of 1744x1080 has an aspect ratio with a width lower than 16:9 and I was unable to reproduce the issue in a 1920x1080 window.

The aiming position remains unaffected by camera animations when initiating actions such as sneaking, swimming, gliding with an elytra, or using riptide. Consequently, before the animation concludes, the aiming position corresponds as if the animation has already finished. This issue is related to MC-189619 and MC-148088. It also relates to MC-268996 and MC-259414.
When a player has a non-standard scale attribute and casts a fishing rod, the line will will appear detatched from the held fishing rod item.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Modify the player's scale
/attribute @p minecraft:generic.scale base set 10 - Get a fishing rod
- Cast it
→
The line is placed unrelated to the fishing rod item.

I think this bug exists because the old sneaking from 1.12 and prior used to be only one frame, so it didn't used to be a bug in the past.
Issue is not fixed in Minecraft 1.14.3 pre-4
Also affects swinging animation.
Blocked from testing in 21w11a, by
MC-219849Bug still occurs as of 1.20.4, though I think that was known.
This impacts any camera height alteration animation, not limited to sneaking. It pertains to the camera animation when initiating or halting swimming, gliding, or using riptide too. Relates to MC-269001.
Can confirm for 1.21.4
This is the main bug I wanted fixed. It's such a small issue but bedrock doesn't have it.
