Steps to Reproduce:
- Give yourself a sword enchanted with fire aspect by using the command provided below.
/give @s minecraft:iron_sword{Enchantments:[{id:"minecraft:fire_aspect",lvl:2}]} - Summon two cows next to one another by using the commands provided below.
/summon minecraft:cow ~ ~ ~-2.5 {NoAI:1b}/summon minecraft:cow ~1 ~ ~-2.5 {NoAI:1b} - Hit the cow directly in front of you.
- Take note as to whether or not the sweeping attack ignites other mobs when using the fire aspect enchantment.

Sweep attack doesn't invoke fire aspect
Related to the fix for https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MC-92849 . Now that the sweep attack does 1 point of damage, it is noticeable that enchants such as fire aspect are not applied.
For example, striking a group of chickens with a fire aspect sword you will see one cooked chicken dropped and the rest will be raw chicken.
Environment
Mac OSX, not OS specific.

MC-93669 talks about how the sweeping attack doesn't ignite other mobs when using the fire aspect enchantment, whereas this ticket is talking about the sweeping attack doesn't take into consideration the strength and weakness effects when attacking other mobs. I'm more than happy to take ownership of this report and update it accordingly to reflect what the problem is here.
The core issue here is MC-93669. Entities that are attacked indirectly are not ignited when using the fire aspect enchantment, therefore causing them not to drop cooked food upon being killed.
