How to update your graphics card drivers
This applies to the people who read this ticket after they have created a duplicate of it.There is nothing Mojang can do to remedy these problems but you can!
- You need to reinstall/update/fix your graphic-card drivers and try again.
- Do not rely on automatic searches for driver updates.
- Do not use Windows Update or Device Manager - Microsoft doesn't install OpenGL, they promote DirectX.
- If you know the brand and type of your graphics card, go to the links provided above and search manually for the most recent driver for your card. The automatic detection tools of the card manufacturers are not recommended.
- If you are running custom Java arguments to increase RAM, then remove them.
How did you "fix" it? I assume restarting your game. But that's a punctual bug, this issue is regular.
This is a bug tracker, the issues should be resolved with vanilla minecraft.
Duplicate of MC-125007?

Unfortunately, this is only your error. I think this is a lighting glitch.
Please, try to do this actions:
- Place a Glowstone on the dark blocks.
- Leave and rejoin the world.
- Crash your game using F3 + C for 10 seconds and attach your report where the mods tell you.
Can confirm. Probably this happens because that's thought for commands (and not for chat) which include /, but that symbol does not need suggestions so there is a white space.

The time it takes the elytras to open is: 2.49
Time from when to when ? From entering The End until you could fly ?
(is 2.49 = 2 minutes, 49 seconds or 2 seconds, 490 milliseconds ?)
Pau Olivares, that is totally NOT how to force a crash.
Pau Olivares Optifine is a third party software. You can't consider a ticket resolved by forcing a player to use a third party software. If you say you couldn't confirm this, you should use the vanilla client.
Also I doubt changing anything outside of Minecraft would fix this issue because everything works fine in previous version.
Armando Alejandro Mejias Vera confirmed this bug as well.
Pau Olivares: That ticket had nothing to do with carpets. Mobs not crossing rails is intended. Mobs not walking on carpets is a bug.
Look to debug informations of second image.
x108 y39 z830
And it seems like the world seed is not correct...
thank you Pau Pau Olivares
Pau Olivares, it's very clearly the same report, or caused by the same behavior. This is because, as seen in MC-126244, it can fail, reading "could not find that structure nearby". The second issue is also a duplicate of MC-126244, as loading explorer maps uses the same locating code as /locate, and that code is lagged out and often doesn't find structures, and if it doesn't find structures, then the trade doesn't unlock.
Then again, we can't be entirely sure, as the report is incoherent and provides no steps to reproduce the issue.
Pau Olivares, keep in mind that there also was MC-130887, different crashes with different causes.
Yes, it's too late to go to bed. It's already 00:10 midnight.@Pau Olivares
Can't repro. My testworld is attached.
Pau Olivares, Matthew when you can repro, please attach your crash report.
mmp......@Pau Olivares @Matthew
Pau Olivares, the Wiki cannot be used as reference, because the wiki is describing the as-is state of the game.
@Pau Olivares It shouldn't be a Java Edition issue. As you may already know, the MC project deals with bugs found in the latest release/development version so that Mojang staffs can improve developing products in the future. Also, the game files themselves shouldn't have problems because they work normally in the past. Instead, the launcher should be launching the games wrongly so that this issue occurs. Or that maybe those sound files of older versions just don't exist, but it still shouldn't be dealt with in https://bugs.mojang.com/projects/MC as explained above. ![]()
Paul Rozhkov Pau Olivares If you have a reproductible case, can you send me the seed, the spawn location and what /locate returns ?
Nico Kümmel I checked with your seed and coordinates. It actually does generate a Stronghold room, but is missing part of the stronghold itself. Can you confirm that ?
Pau Olivares: How did you come to that conclusion based on the provided log?
Ashanti Brooks: The log you provided is not the launcher log. Please attach the launcher log from (.minecraft/launcher_log.txt) here.
Pau Olivares, how did you come to that conclusion based on the logs attached to this report?
Either way, Marcel P, as [Mod] Neko already said, you tried to launch 1.8.8, which is a very old version (released in 2015). We don't support this version here anymore. Please check whether launching the most recent version (currently 1.12.2) also doesn't work.
Howard Chang, I also told you this: No need to update resolved issues unless your information is relevant to it.
Was this information relevant to this ticket?
You're not in the position to tell people what to do and what not to do.
Pau Olivares, D, please stop both acting like mods on this tracker.

This bugs appears when you touch a block while swimming. This is due to the player's hitbox. When you get touched, you are "attacking" your hitbox. Also happens when you sprint in a 1-high space as Rat Dog said.
Remember that MC 1.13-pre1 is a snapshot, not a released version.
First, could you give more details about your friend's server (game version, realms/bukkit/spigot...)?
This error could happen because the server only supports -1.12.2 versions. As you said, this bug does not happen with the 1.12.X. Try to update your server's version.
Please, review the server status and reply to my message!
I couldn't reproduce it too... maybe that's your bug.
I tested it (MC 1.13-pre2).
This is due to the generation of the structure. Sometimes the generation lags and this causes this bug.

Could you give more details about the bug (command block/chat, did you activate any option?)?
I tried it and it does not work for me [ MC 1.13-pre1 ].
Try to place a block under it. If not... it's a bugged mob, and you will be forced to go away from that area if you do not want to see that...

Please, make sure to check if the bug is already reported before reporting.

Only the managers of the project can add/remove new strings to translate. However, the string "[HERE]" is translatable ( https://gyazo.com/9c1eafb4485b9bea72614d2a43feca87 ). Probably the string "[HERE]" is NOT translated in your language (if one string is not translated, it will be replaced with the default string in English).

This is probably not an error, or maybe, a texture error.
The "enderman" is probably based on the "Slenderman", which has white eyes.

I reproduced the bug with all the types of rails and the zombie does not cross them.
I'm pretty sure this is a developing error. The Gamepedia says: "Zombies will attempt to avoid obstacles, including sheer cliffs and lava, and will try to find the shortest path towards the player."

Another thing you can try is to delete the "1.12.2" version and install it again.

I also tried to reproduce this bug replacing the block manually, but it works. This only happens if you replace the block with the command
Probably because the block does not "regenerate" and the game still detects a magma block.

Also, could you add the coords and the coordinates?

We should consider this issue as solved.
This is not a bug. In the adventure mode, the player cannot directly destroy any blocks with any tools or place any blocks, in order to avoid spoiling adventure maps or griefing servers. The player can use levers, pressure plates, buttons, doors, chests, furnaces and dispensers. The player can also put on armor and use tools and weapons, but only to attack monsters.

Exactly, possibly duplicate of MC-131599.
However, try to crash your game using F3+C for 10 seconds and attach your crash-report where the Moderators tell you.

Then, please change the title. Because it's similar to the "duplicates".
Duplicate of MC-132064.

Probably this happens because the command does not detect if there is another grass path over the placed block and does not update it.

Cannot reproduce. What gamemode are you using? Could you explain a bit more what do you mean with "interact"?

Please attach your crash-report here or where the Moderators tell you!
If it's not: Confirmed for MC 1.13-pre4.
However, does this Black-screen appear while using full screen?
If you don't know how to reproduce it...
Please try to reproduce it and provide the steps here!
Couldn't confirm for MC 1.12.2.
Cannot reproduce.
Confirmed for MC 1.13-pre4.
Probably because the game shows you the two options. But as you said, it should only suggest or highlight "true".

Oops! My mistake sorry
. However, I still can't reproduce this issue in a server, but I can in a single player. Could you give more details about the "server" please?
Please, I need more information! Could you give more details about this issue? And what are the steps to reproduce it?
Confirmed for MC 1.13-pre5.
Exactly, as @Kumasasa said the game shouldn't crash due to a direct user input. The game should act the same as MC-116835.
Confirmed MC 1.13-pre5.
By the way, relates to MC-132312.
Couldn't confirm for MC 1.13-pre5.
Cannot reproduce. Are you using vanilla minecraft? I ask that because this issue relates to another issue created by you and you weren't using vanilla minecraft.
Cannot reproduce. But what I found is this MC-125351.
@BoyrexMacaraya there is no need to create duplicates or invalid reports! A single report about a bug is enough for them (Managers) to notice and fix it! By the way, you can always check before creating a new report if it's duplicated by using the search function!
Can confirm for this particular version too!
Possibly duplicate of
MC-42367? Relates to MC-122296.Confirmed for MC 1.13-pre5.
First of all, I'm not sure if this is a bug or a feature! I made an hyphotesis about this bug: The bubbles push you up, then maybe it pushes the water up too creating a new source of it.
Try restarting your game and/or deactivating your texture packs!
Cannot reproduce too.
Try restarting your game, deactivate your texture packs or reset the video/sound configuration.
Confirmed for MC 1.13-pre5.
Crash description: Exception in server tick loop.
We can't help you if you don't attach your crash report!
This is not a bug, because you are joining a new "world". Also appears when you try to join in the Nether.
Go to the .minecraft folder by pressing Windows + R and typing %appdata% in the search bar. Then, go to crash-reports and attach it here!
Can confirm for MC 1.13-pre5.
@Matthew Hunter: If you manually edit the commands they will work. If you copy & paste the command /title @a title {"text":"hi","color":"gold} it won't work (at least for me);
However, if you copy & paste /title @a title {"text":"Hi","color":"gold","bold":true} (working for me) and you remove ,"bold":true} and leave the command as /title @a title {"text":"Hi","color":"gold} it will work.
No problem! Follow this steps please:
This should work. Once you find it, copy and attach the correct crash report here.
Yes, for the "invalid" command, but which is correct. This one for example: /title @a title
{"text":"hi","color":"gold}likemojang2: he's solving your issue, as always, a duplicate.
Perfect, thanks for the feedback
Null: please, attach the correct command then, because the commands aren't working for me yet.
Possibly fixed for MC 1.13-pre5. The game does not crash in my computer. Could someone try reproduce it too?
Yes, that's why I wrote world with "". This could be a bug or maybe, a feature.
Cannot reproduce. I tried it in a LAN world (I know you are running a cmd server), but the bug did not appear. However, could you explain in detail how to reproduce it, please?
likemojang2 as Kumasasa said, your reports are often duplicates (or dupes), remember that there is a Search function!
Duplicate of
MC-97820.Anyways, this issue is invalid. Try using this command:
@likemojang2 another duplicate, use the search function!!
@likemojang2 your question was: Is XXX invalid? How is that possible?
The answer is: this is not a bug, this is an option that can be configured by using a comand.
Still present in MC 1.13-pre5.
Stop discussing this issue. It's already resolved as Duplicate.
Unable reproduce in 1.13-pre5 too!
Could reproduce too. Also appears in blocks near the water; please see.
@[Helper] Lord_Quadrato: yes, it should be closed, as you said seems forgotten. Anyways it's reported for a no longer supported version.
Oops! I copied & pasted the description command. Thanks for the feedback @null!
Could reproduce in MC 1.13-pre5.
Are you able to see the main menu (Single Player, Multiplayer, Minecraft realms...) or it crashes on the screen "Mojang"?
Cannot reproduce.
If you go and pose on the seabed the player will stand up; then you will be able to use the "flying mode" again. Maybe this happens because the game detects you are underwater and sets you the "swimming mode".
Mhm... it appears, but it's not in the chunk border, please see this picture.
Also appears in all the MC 1.13 pre-releases.
Cannot reproduce in MC 1.13-pre5. I tried it many times but nothing.
@[~Awesoman3000]: I don't think it relates to that issue, because it's different.
@Muhammet Kurt : This issue was already resolved as "Invalid". No need to update it!
Could reproduce. Also happens with Survival Mode; the player does not take damage even though the trapdoor is trespassing his hitbox.
Modified launcher.
@likemojang2, read the message that @[Mod] Michael Wobst posted, and stop asking or discussing this issue because it's resolved as invalid.
@likemojang2, please, you are creating tons of issues while using a MODIFIED LAUNCHER, read and understand what the Moderators/Users tell you.
As I said: you are using a modified launcher.
We need more information! Please, could you explain a bit more your issue? Did you create only 1 world and you (re)opened it with those 2 versions or you created 2 worlds?
However, can confirm for MC 1.13-pre5.
@[Mod] Michael Wobst: my search function isn't working, when I type /locate does not show anything, what can I do?
No need to update this issue. It was resolved as duplicate.
As @D said, mobs cannot jump more than one block high.
Modified launcher. Stop creating issues with a MODIFIED game.
By the way, see this website.
Because, you are using a MODIFIED launcher. Feel free to post and create reports only if you are using Vanilla Minecraft.
Could you describe the exact steps about how to reproduce it, please? Was the server created in an older version?
This issue is invalid because it's not in English, feel free to (re)post it in English. By the way, please, read this summary.
Duplicate of
MC-114483. If not, this issue is an incomplete because you did not attach the crash report.Cannot reproduce again.
Not for me.
Wait, isn't this a duplicate of MCL-5638?
Minecraft wiki is not 100% correct.
Stop updating this issue. It was already resolved as Invalid.
Still using a Modified launcher?
@Matthew: it's better to ignore him, he's just flooding the bug tracker with absurd comments.
