Steps to Reproduce:
- Summon a nether portal, end portal, and end gateway by using the commands provided below.

/setblock ~-3 ~1 ~3 minecraft:end_gateway
- Switch into spectator mode and attempt to use the nether portal, end portal, and end gateway.
- Take note as to whether or not you can use nether portals, end portals, and end gateways while in spectator mode.
Observed Behavior:

The title is incorrect. Spectators can travel to the nether by teleporting to that player (https://twitter.com/Dinnerbone/status/464386873365114880), it should be "Specators can't use nether portals". But I don't think it's supposed to work like that, because nothing (except commands) can interact with spectators. Also, dinnerbone said (https://twitter.com/Dinnerbone/status/428941132513705984) specators are supposed to be able to pass through all blocks, which wouldn't be possible with portals teleporting you away.

I was using an alt account to spectate my main account and when I entered the portal to leave the nether, my main went to the overworld as expected, but my spectator account was sent elsewhere in the nether. I even had to log off the server and rejoin to get it to load the chunks for the spectator when this happened.
Confirmed fixed kind of. You can teleport using the 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 buttons. Also to other dimensions. Although through the nether/end portal is still not fixed.

The way you can enter another dimension in spectator mode is by teleporting to another player.
That has been discussed above. The issue is that there are cases where you may want a spectator to travel to a dimension that currently has no player in it.

Couldn't there just be a "Change Dimension" button when you're in a portal, like the "Leave Bed" button when you're sleeping? (of course not sleeping in spectator though)
So if you want to fly right through it and not teleport, you can easily do that. If you want to teleport, you can easily do that as well.
